How to deal with essay writing rejections

If a person wants to become good at essay writing assignments then the first and foremost thing that he or she should know is how to accept rejections. Most people start writing essays with only one thing in mind that they should write a good essay so that the faculty gives them good marks because of which their grades will improve. People put in a lot of effort into writing their essays and hope for things to turn out well. But sadly, if for some reason the faculty does not find their essay good enough and awards them less marks then these people cannot accept it. This mentality of people towards rejections needs to change. Most people look at rejection in a very negative way. This is because they simply think that their essay writing assignment was not good enough and that they will continue to be this way. This mentality needs to change. The first step to being a good essay writer is to earn how to accept rejection. By accepting rejection the first thing that happens is that the person’s mind gets put to rest and the turmoil within ends. After this the person has to change his or her outlook and look at rejections as an indication of what they were lacking in writing good essays. Rejections can be looked as a chance for the person to spot his or her mistakes and then learn from them. The person has a chance to improve his or her essay writing skills by noticing and observing his or her rejected essay.

The firs thing that person needs to do after a rejection is to calm him or herself down first. They can do this by doing any activity that they find relaxing and one that acts as a stress buster. Once their mind is at ease they should look back at their situation. Most students who face an essay writing rejection first blame the faculty. This is not right. The person should first analyze his or her own essay. Sometimes a person’s essay is rejected because it was made hurriedly and in haste. In such a case the person must admit their own fault and realize that they need to better their time management skills. This is because they can clearly see that for want of more time they could not write their essay properly.

Sometimes the persons’ essay writing assignment was rejected because it lacked in content of matter. The person should see this and realize that the fault is theirs and that they should have researched more on the given topic of essay. There are also some cases where the essay is rejected because the faculty did not find the ideas of the writer good enough. In this case, the writer does not need to blame him or herself but must realize that he or she needs to think of better and more valid ideas  for his or her next essay.

Once the writer has analyzed his or her mistakes he or she should first go about correcting them and then improving their own skills. After this they should only look back at the rejection as a positive correction incident and look forward to the next essay assignment.
