Money-Back/Refund Guarantees
It is our goal to develop long-term relationships with our clients, and, as a part of this goal, we work hard to deliver exactly what the customer has ordered. Occasionally, there are issues regarding the order, and we have thus developed fair and reasonable refund and discount guarantees, both for the customer and for our professional writers.
Please read the policies and procedures listed below, so that you understand when and how refunds and discounts are considered. Note that the policies are divided into two categories – before you approve and accept the product and after you have approved and accepted it.
You will receive a PDF version of your work once it is completed. Only after you approve and accept it, will you receive the printable Word format. You need to review the PDF version thoroughly, because money-back policies will depend upon where you are in the process of approval.
Prior to Your Approval of the PDF format, refund/discount policies are as follows:
- Occasionally, a client is billed twice during the ordering process. If you see that your credit card reflects a double payment, or if you have received double receipts from a payment processing company (e.g., PayPal), contact us right away. You will, of course, receive a complete refund of the extra payment.
- If we have been unable to find exactly the correct writer for you, we will not proceed with your work. This is a rare event, but it has occurred. In this case, you will be given a full refund immediately.
- Once you have received a confirmation email that a writer has been assigned to your order, you can receive a 70% refund, should you change your mind and decide to cancel your order. Please be certain that you have given us the correct email address. If you have not heard from us within 1-2 days of placing your order, something is wrong. Contact us immediately!
- If, for some reason, the work is not delivered by the deadline date you specified in your order, the total price charged will be adjusted according to the tardiness with which it has been delivered. If you are no longer able to use the work, you will receive a full refund and a discount on your next order with us. You will notice that, on the order form, there are windows of days for deadline delivery. If you desire a specific date, you must specify this through the additional notes section on the order form or by contacting us. Otherwise, if you have selected a window of 3-4 days, your order is not considered late unless it is past the last date in your selected window.
- You are not satisfied with the quality of the product. Our goal is to satisfy each client, and we take dis-satisfaction with quality seriously. For this reason, we ask you to be very specific regarding the parts and/or sections with which you are dis-satisfied. You have the right to request revisions before you have approved the final product, and we will work to revise those things with which you are not happy, at no additional charge. If you request a full refund, however, you will need to provide proof that your writer did not follow your instructions. Each refund request will be determined on an individual basis, and the decision usually takes about 3 days.
Before you approve your order, it is your responsibility to review it thoroughly. Once you have accepted the work, different policies are in place.
After you have approved and accepted your order and received the Word document, the following policies apply:
Once you have received the printable version of your product, refunds are simply not granted. Because the approval process involves two steps (receipt of the PDF format and your review and acceptance), we have to assume that you have met your responsibility of reviewing the entire piece. You have time to make this decision, and please take that time before you accept. Once you have taken delivery of the printable version, no refund will be granted.
Other Important Information
We want to avoid any mis-understandings and ask that you become an active participant in the completion of your work.
Once you have placed an order and a writer has been assigned, you need to communicate with your writer often and consistently. If you don’t access your account page often, you will miss important messages from your writer regarding additional information or detail he or she may need to complete your work.
We ask that you review your instructions and be certain that you have supplied your writer with all necessary information and materials to get the job done right. Failure to give your writer everything will delay completion, and we truly want to meet your deadline. We cannot allow refunds on orders that did not supply all of the information needed.
Please Note: You have 14 days from the time the PDF version is delivered to approve the work or to request revisions. If you have not responded within the 14-day time frame, we will deliver the Word version and consider the order complete.
